Let’s Talk About the Squiggly Eyebrows Trend
Just recently, the squiggly eyebrows became a trend on twitter and Instagram. It started off with one girl experimenting with her creative skills and decided to change up her eyebrows for the fun of it. Her photo then went viral all over twitter and Instagram with thousands of retweets, likes, tweets and comments. There were mixed reactions about it. A majority of the public thought it was dumb and that eyebrows shouldn’t be squiggly. They thought this trend was stupid and that people shouldn’t partake in them. The other part of the twitter and Instagram atmosphere thought it was cool and wanted to partake in this new trend.
I’m all for self-expression and creating art, but squiggly eyebrows? Many people have taken part of this trend and have turned their eyebrows into a wave form. Hundreds of people would make their eyebrows in different colors and designs, but mostly making the eyebrows in a wave form. Many of these people have made these squiggly eyebrows thin, thick, long, and/or short.
Should it be a trend?
Honestly, no. Eyebrows are such an important part of someone’s face. To see someone with squiggly eyebrows, it may just distract me from taking the person seriously. It may distract job interviewers from taking these people seriously. Let’s keep the eyebrows in a straight line or arch. We don’t need to turn them in a trend, a very unwanted trend that should not be happening.
Eyebrows can either make or break your face. With your eyebrows being squiggly, it’s hard to take a person seriously. It can throw off the rest of your makeup.
Squiggly eyebrows are cool for those of you who want to experiment with their creativity and skills, but let’s not make it a trend. Let’s keep our eyebrows looking the same and not experiment with them, shall we?
What do you guys personally think of the squiggly eyebrows trend?
