Music Teasers Leave Us in Suspense
Music teasers leave us in exciting suspense, Millennials.
Music artists may post a teaser, preview or snippet on their Instagram account to a new song they are working on, or that is about to come out and that they are about to release.
These may be for fifteen seconds, seventeen seconds or even longer. Some of the music artist’s followers on Instagram may like the track, while others may not like the song, or they may need to hear the whole song when it comes out and then decide whether they like it or not.
The teaser, preview or snippet usually also means that the music artist is about to release the new song, or is working on a new album and the audio is part of a song that will be on their new music project. It also may mean that the music artist is in the studio working on new music, and their Instagram followers get a live look-in into what the music artist is doing.
Music artists like rappers Drake and Jay-Z are some examples of some who tease, preview or provide a snippet of music for their Instagram followers before it comes out.
This may be anywhere from three months or longer, to one week to a few days before they release their new music. Music artists may do this practice to help promote their music. It is also a good promotional tool that they use.
Other fans of the music artist who do not follow them on Instagram, also find out about the music artist’s new music teaser, preview or snippet in other ways, like on other social media platforms like Twitter, and when they go through posts that their followers have posted or retweeted. Fans scroll through their own feed, and immediately, and automatically click on the music teaser, preview or snippet because they want to eagerly hear the new media.
Whether it is Instagram, or Twitter or another source, we Millennials get excited when we see that the music artist is working on new music.
It gives us something to look forward to hearing, especially if we follow the music artist, are fans of them and like them.
Not only do we have something new to listen to from them, but most of the time they have remained consistent with what they provide to us.
This could be the same sound that we expect, and have come to know from them, or moral support and motivation to carry on in life, and be great through the words in the lyrics in their songs.
So the next time you see or hear a teaser, preview or snippet from a music artist, Millennials, get ready for something more, that is sure to be part of something bigger, and phenomenal that will excite the mind and make us happy.
